These are just a few pictures of what my theater has become. All the equipment, wiring, screen install, and painting was done by myself (not always easy). I had a friend who was a big help by finding velvet curtains for $15 each, and cool wall paper border There are some hidden features, like X10 control of all the lights, IR distribution, and shades (with some extra work) to keep the light out. Filters in the vents, and a Hunter clean air purifier (HEPA) in the back to keep to room as dust free as possible. I installed speaker jacks in the wall, but decided to run the video connections straight from source to projector. The walls are a very dark blue and gray, ceiling is a lighter gray. You can't tell it's gray until you compare it to the white ceiling to the left of the screen which can be seen in 2 photos below.

The screen is 96" x 54" Vu-Tec. You can see I have room for a much larger one, and will probably try a larger painted screen with my next projector. Currently I have a SharpVision XV-S55U which has served me very well for the last 3.5 years.
